It’s now official. Scaves is an IWCF associate centre of Well Academy.

Well Academy and Scaves are both pleased to announce the Schoonebeek training centre in Drenthe, The Netherlands achieving IWCF accreditation. The Scaves training centre in Schoonebeek will operate as an associate centre of Well Academy Apeldoorn and will support the local industry in Drenthe with IWCF classes and other training including industry awareness courses and “hands-on” practical training. Classes will be available in the Dutch language.
Well Academy together with Scaves will initially offer IWCF well control classes in Schoonebeek for both drilling and well intervention. Also planned, making use of workshop facilities will be practical training in well control equipment, and well intervention services.
Announcing news of the IWCF accreditation for the Scaves Schoonebeek centre, Nico van Spijker, Director Training Delivery Well Academy says “supporting our clients in Drenthe with quality IWCF classes and “hands-on” practical training in Dutch is fundamental to building a strong local competent workforce employed across the energy industry including oil & gas and geothermal. We look forward to working with Scaves and delivering our classes in Schoonebeek.”
