Global well and rig equipment training specialist Well Academy has opened enrolment for the next intake of its Subsea Engineer Programme (SEP).
Developed and delivered by sister company ModuSpec, the SEP returned earlier this year following a 10-year absence. The first cohort has now successfully completed the programme, with additional cohorts continuing their development.
The programme is designed for subsea engineers responsible for the maintenance, reliability and operation of subsea blow out preventers (BOPs), from those new to the role through to experienced subsea supervisors.
The three-module programme will welcome its next intake in November 2026 at Well Academy’s training centre in Apeldoorn, The Netherlands.

Hosting in Apeldoorn allows the attendees to make use of our excellent facilities, where we also deliver International Well Control Forum (IWCF) accredited well control training and tackle operational aspects such as stuck pipe prevention, managed pressure drilling and other rig equipment courses including the renowned ModuSpec Rig Inspection Workshop.”
