Description
This course covers both the Volumetric Method and the Combined Volumetric and Stripping Method.
Basic well control principles are used to formulate and explain the theory of both methods. Equipment requirements and surface equipment setup for the Combined and Volumetric Stripping Method is discussed.
Examples and questions are used to illustrate and practice with calculations.
Considerable time will be spent in the simulator room to learn how to apply both methods.
Audience
This course has been designed for senior rig crew (assistant driller and above), operator personnel and onshore support teams. Although there is no hard prerequisite, delegates are expected to have basic well control knowledge (IWCF/IADC level 3 or 4):
